Mom, Dad and Sis all went to San Diego.... without me :( They went to meet with some missionaries who are headed to Japan.
We are all praying about the possibility of joining them in the next few years. Specifically we are wanting to help with Church planting and helping the Japanese believers grow in grace and knowledge until they can train themselves. Dad says the military calls this "train the trainer." I read about it in Acts chapters 13 and 14. It doesn't say 'train the trainer' but refers to "strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith" 14:22. My folks say that if they did go, they would be gone for a couple of years and I might have to stay here in the U.S.... That's okay though, because I don't really like dog food made of tofu anyhow! The meeting went well and they enjoyed getting to know everyone. They especially said thanks for the hospitality and spending a whole day with them!
While they were in San Diego they also got to visit Aunt A and Uncle A,

my Great Great Aunt.

and Tucker and his Family.

Sis did fantastic on the flights and she hardly cried at all :)

She didn't like driving in SoCal much but she did enjoy getting to visit everyone! We didn't figure it out until they got home but Sis (now weighting in at 11 lbs) was getting too big for the double wing neck protector in her car seat... So Aunt A, sorry about all the crying; she was just feeling cramped! Now if all of their flights didn't get delayed the whole trip would have been perfect; but too short.

The next step for us is to formally apply to the missions organization, start learning more about the Word, and getting everything in order for a potential trip to Japan. We also want you all to join us in praying for the Japanese people, The Japan Team, and for guidance regarding our future.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures from the trip and take care!

You are in our prayers! We were fortunate to have a direct flight from KC to Philly. I looked at the flight monitors and probably 50-75% of the flights at Philly were either delayed or canceled!
May God direct your paths as you follow His call!
Wow...what an exciting adventure.
I pray God leads you where He wants you to be.
Thanks for the update Sebastian...
Wow, Sebastian, you can read?? I guess if you can type a blog, then you can read... We miss you!!
